Join us for the KAFF Banquet in the ballroom of the Oregon Garden Resort! Your banquet ticket will include a full plated (not buffet) dinner, drink ticket, and a talk from our keynote speaker, Clara Parkes.
The KAFF Banquet ticket is available for $60; tickets will go on sale January 15th, 2017.
Almost two decades ago, Clara Parkes abandoned San Francisco’s high-tech hubbub to build a quieter creative life on the coast of Maine. In 2000, she turned passion to profession when she launched Knitter’s Review, the first comprehensive online knitting magazine and community. Since then, through her writings, workshops, bestselling books (including The New York Times bestseller Knitlandia), television and radio appearances, and her small-batch Clara Yarn, Parkes has carried knitters into the 21st century. She is a passionate proponent of breed awareness, slow knitting, slow stashing, and knitting locally. Today Clara still lives in Maine, dividing her time between city and country. When not hunting down that elusive flock of sheep, Clara loves to putter in the kitchen and is a huge fan of butter.
