Join us for the 2018 KAFF Keynote Banquet, Saturday evening April 28th, in the Orchid Banquet Room of the Oregon Garden Resort. Enjoy a plated dinner and the companionship of your fellow fiber lovers, followed by a talk given by KAFF instructor and wool afficionado, Clara Parkes.
Clara is the founder of Knitter’s Review, the first comprehensive online knitting magazine and community. Through her writings, workshops, bestselling books (including The New York Times bestseller Knitlandia), television and radio appearances, and her small-batch Clara Yarn, Parkes has carried knitters into the 21st century. She is a passionate proponent of breed awareness, slow knitting, slow stashing, and knitting locally. Her talk, Legends of Knitlandia, introduces us through stories and pictures to some of the most vital heroes who make our fiber-loving world go round.
Your banquet ticket includes (plated at the table, not buffet): your entree, sides of seasonal vegetables and roasted red potatoes, garden salad, chocolate mousse cake for dessert, hot coffee/tea, and one drink ticket. A no-host bar will also be available.
Choose from the following entree options:
- Chicken Milano: seasoned, floured chicken with a sun-dried tomato cream sauce
- Vegetarian Ratatouille: roasted bell peppers, onion and eggplant tossed with a house-made marinara sauce over boursin polenta (gluten-free)
Available tickets will be sold during the weekend of KAFF and at the door for $65.00.
Cancelled banquet tickets are eligible for a refund (minus a $20.00 cancellation fee) until March 31st, 2018. After March 31st, there are no refunds for cancelled banquet tickets unless your seat can be filled from a waiting list ($20.00 cancellation fee still applies).
